  • MEETING IN IMOLA (ITALY) OF THE LEADING EUROPEAN SUPPLIERS

The ECTS group (European Ceramic Technology Suppliers), which brings together the leading suppliers of ceramic technology in Europe, held its second biannual meeting of 2010 in Imola (Italy) on 28 September.

The ECTS biannual meetings are itinerant and are held in facilities of group members to leverage the opportunity for deepening mutual understanding between manufacturers. This time around, the host company and organizer of the meeting was SACMI, the leading global provider of technology for fine ceramics.

This meeting has served to confirm the increasingly open trust between ECTS member companies when it comes to expressing their concerns, sharing the situation of their respective organizations and openly discussing joint actions to improve issues that affect the entire sector.

It's worth noting that one of the most common impressions for member companies in this Imola meeting is a recent increase in orders and enquiries, pointing to an upswing in investment and modernization in the ceramic industry in many parts of the world.

The next meeting of the ECTS will take place next May in Frankfurt (Germany).

  • BERALMAR LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE

Coinciding with the TECNARGILLA fair in Rimini (Italy), BERALMAR unveils its new website.

In addition to a major graphic design upgrade from the previous website, the new BERALMAR website stands out for its visual elements, featuring great multimedia content (images and video clips) depicting its equipment and parts. This library will be expanded constantly.

The content currently available is only a starting point for the new site. The aim is to revamp it regularly and build it continuously with updates and new sections.

In future newsletters we will update you on the new sections of the website, which will feature certain technical information that will be of interest to our friends and customers.

  • TECNARGILLA 2010

BERALMAR feels its experience at TECNARGILLA 2010 has been very positive. Our stand has been visited by representatives of over 120 ceramic manufacturers worldwide, mainly in Latin America and North Africa but also Europe and Asia.

The main novelty introduced by BERALMAR this year has been its new range of automation equipment. In 2009 BERALMAR put together an experienced technical team for designing and manufacturing all types of automation systems. TECNARGILLA 2010 was an excellent opportunity to broadcast this important development.

This event has also served to define some sales agreements and make major advances in technical and commercial discussions for projects under study. In this sense, this issue of TECNARGILLA has served to prove the trend towards modernisation and investment in the ceramic industry in many parts of the world.
