• PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK "TERRASSA. CITY, LIFE AND PEOPLE"

The book was presented last 19 April at the Teatre Principal of Terrassa. “Terrassa. City, Life and People” offers an original, positive and unique glimpse of the city. Its heritage, history and urban development come to life in a crosscutting narrative that looks at Terrassa with a fresh perspective creating a hitherto unseen portrait of the city.

The book—published in Catalan, Spanish and English—features a history of the city and interviews with 10 prominent Terrassa figures: Juli Soler (El Bulli restaurant), Xavi Corral (journalist) , Manuel Lao (business leader), Artur Martínez (Capricho restaurant owner), Sarai Gascón (Paralympics swimmer), Pere Arquillué (actor), Xavi Hernández (FC Barcelona football player), Silvia Muñoz (grass hockey player), Mercè Paloma (designer) and Pep Pla (actor y director of the Teatre Principal).

Published with the collaboration of BERALMAR and seven other organisations, the book was presented in a very emotional act that was a definite boost to the city’s self-esteem.

• NEW PROJECT IN ALGERIA

BERALMAR has once again been chosen to build a new plant in Algeria. The plant in question is the future Tizi Ouzou BRIQUETERIE AMRAOUA in the country’s centre-north region.

This new production line will be designed to produce up to 330 tons of blocks per day, and features a semi-continuous MESTRAL model dryer and a PRESTHERMIC-E tunnel kiln.

The kiln and dryer are controlled automatically by the MICROBER and MICROSEC systems, respectively.

The equipment supplied by BERALMAR for this project also includes the automation equipment for cutting, loading and unloading from the dryer, kiln stacking and unstacking, transporting and packing:

The new BRIQUETERIE AMRAOUA factory will be BERALMAR’s fifth turnkey project in the North African country.
