Enric Simón

BERALMAR welcomes Enric Simón (45), an industrial engineer who joined BERALMAR’s Technical Department at the end of August where he will perform general support tasks for the project manager.

Enric has extensive experience in the textile and automotive sectors, and in the ceramics industry, as he has recently been plant manager at two factories belonging to the ALTAGRÉS group, one in Sant Cugat (Barcelona) the other in Honduras (Central America).

We wish him a quick integration to the BERALMAR team.

  • NEW ORDER FOR A MICROMATIC INSTALLATION IN MOROCCO

The BRIQUETERIE BELBRIQUE in Berrechid (Morocco) has decided to replace up to 70% of fuel oil consumption in its kiln with micronized petcoke, using a MICROMATIC model which will be delivered in the coming weeks.

This substitution will be a major energy saver, as the price of fuel oil is rising sharply this year in Morocco, and as the BELBRIQUE kiln produces up to 600 tonnes of blocks a day.

This will be the 11th kiln operated using solid fuel firing installations provided by BERALMAR in Morocco.

  • COMMISSIONING OF THE FIRST MICROMATIC INSTALLATION IN HUNGARY

During the month of September, BERALMAR commissioned the first MICROMATIC installation in Hungary in the KUNSÁGI TÉGLAIPARI ceramics plant in Kisújszállás in the east of the country.

This is an important milestone in the central European country’s energy situation, as it is expected that this will be the first of many micronized petcoke firing installations in the region, due to the prohibitive cost of natural gas and the convenience and hygiene that the MICROMATIC system brings.

The results of the implementation have been positive, to the point of entirely replacing the kiln’s consumption of gas, something which is not always been possible.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank KUNSÁGI TÉGLAIPARI for their trust in BERALMAR. Being the first in the market to to take the plunge is not easy, but it has its rewards.
