BERALMAR has brought forward publication of its new 2016 General Catalogue for the CERAMITEC 2015 Fair.

The 72-page catalogue details BERALMAR’s extensive range of products and services in the following fields:

- Engineering: dryer, kiln and complete plant design.

- Combustion: all types of combustion solutions for drying and firing processes and for any type of fuel available.

- Control: automatic drying and firing control systems.

- Automation equipment: a full range of cutting, loading and unloading, stacking and destacking, packaging, etc. equipment.

- Other equipment and services: ventilation, kiln components, etc.

The catalogue also reviews a few of BERALMAR’s references in engineering projects, as well as projects in progress.

It is trilingual – in English, Spanish and French – although another version will be published in a few weeks in other languages such as Russian.

You can see the new General Catalogue conveniently on BERALMAR’s new website, where you can also download it in PDF format. It will be re-published regularly, in principle annually, so the contents can be kept up to date at all times.

We hope this new catalogue will be a useful tool for making people aware of BERALMAR’s extensive range of equipment and services.

The CERAMITEC 2015 fair, held in Munich (Germany) from 20 to 23 October, was a great success again and showed once more why it is the world’s most important show for the ceramics industry.

BERALMAR’s delegation, comprising 14 technical and commercial professionals and occupying a roomy stand of 100 m2, handled a total of 92 visits from 33 countries. Beyond numbers, the quality of these visits needs to be highlighted.

As well as their particular interests, the visitors had the chance to hear BERALMAR’s news at first hand in the field of combustion (new combustion chamber for micronized pet coke, solutions for syngas generation and consumption, etc.) and about the current complete plant projects BERALMAR is carrying out around the world. So we hope this latest edition of the CERAMITEC Fair was as interesting and productive for our friends and clients as it was for BERALMAR.

We are sure to meet again in Munich at the next edition of CERAMITEC, with more technological innovations and new projects to share. You can put the dates in your diary now: 10 to 13 April 2018.

Taking advantage of the presence of almost all member companies in Munich (Germany) for the CERAMITEC 2015 Fair, the ECTS (European Ceramic Technology Suppliers) took the opportunity as usual to hold its second biannual meeting of the year on 19 October.

One of the most important decisions taken at this year’s meeting was, after the great success of participation in the ceramics symposium organised by the ECTS in April in Izmir (Turkey), it was agreed to organise one or two new symposia during 2016 in other countries, to be announced soon.

The negative note from this last meeting was the announcement that Alessandro Colucci is giving up the post of ECTS General Secretary. He will be leaving next January to take a new professional path. Alessandro has been ECTS General Secretary since its foundation 11 years ago now and has gained the personal and professional respect of all the members of the group due to his working and cohesive abilities, his communication skills, as well as due to his noteworthy linguistic and cultural talents. His replacement, still in the process of being selected, will face a difficult task to keep the bar at the height his predecessor left it. We wish all the luck in the world to Alessandro Colucci in both his professional and personal life.

The next ECTS meeting will be held on 20 May 2016 in Mühlacker (Germany), with the company HÄNDLE as host.

BERALMAR will be participating at the 2015 CLAYTECH Conference, the main event for the ceramics industry in the UK, on 19 November.

The conference will be held in Stafford, some 50 miles north of Birmingham.

The conference format is very simple and practical: a roomy hall with individual stands for each participant and a schedule of talks to be given in an adjoining auditorium. This format lets you attend the lectures of interest to you and allows for opportune discussions between ceramists and suppliers on a single day.

BERALMAR will be taking part as one of the main sponsors and we hope it will be a good opportunity to find points for collaboration with the British ceramics industry.

BERALMAR will be taking part between 23 and 26 November in THE BIG 5 DUBAI Fair, to be held at the World Trade Center Dubai, in the capital of the Emirates, one of the world’s construction epicentres and surely the city which has seen the most breathtaking urban transformation in recent decades.

Visitors can find the BERALMAR delegation at stand number 2F51 in hall 2.

With its participation in THE BIG 5 DUBAI, one of the main general construction fairs in the Near East, BERALMAR will be closing a particularly busy year for fair activity in 2015.
